Moses (as) was granted great miracles and singlehandedly defeated the great armies of the Pharoah freeing his people from decades of slavery and humilation. Despite this, his people were are ungrateful and boastful, lacking fortitude, integrity and courage. Moses (as) always remained humble and advised them kindly and tried to build a Monotheistic society.
